Who we are and what we do?
Founded in 1973, Portsmouth Housing Association is a charity and social landlord with an excellent record of providing quality housing and community regeneration services to its customers and the wider community.
PHA is a major social landlord in the South East Hampshire area. It is also a member of the Wayfarer Consortium, a partnership of eight housing associations.
PHA provides Housing Services, Community Regeneration Services and has a Development team to continually build new quality homes for communities.
In April 2007 PHA became member of the First Wessex Housing Group.
PHA provides:
- Over 3,600 homes for rent in Fareham, Gosport, Portsmouth and Havant
- A range of additional services for residents, including tenancy support and welfare advice
- More than 400 supported homes for people in need of care and support, with services provided by Portsmouth Foyer and Southern Focus Trust
- Over 900 shared homeownership (part-buy, part-rent) properties
- Over 300 properties for temporary accommodation in South East Hampshire leased from private landlords to provide good quality temporary accommodation to alleviate homelessness
